Impermanence presents a body of six media works by Quebecois artists Alexis Bellavance, François Quévillon and Nelly-Ève Rajotte. Through works comprised of digital images, videos and installations, the landscape becomes a shifting, ephemeral and impermanent entity. Renewed by contemporary art practices, the sense we make of landscape and its representation reinforces this genre as a pertinent subject of exploration for artists offering to the public a unique point of view on the phenomena of progressive deterioration of image, landscape and material.
